The Professional Review Analyst evaluates the accuracy of charges and the medical necessity of care provided by analyzing medical services and billing across various claim types. Essential functions include identifying review necessity, communicating concerns, collecting and analyzing supporting data to make billing and care appropriateness decisions, and documenting conclusions.
Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of ICD, CPT codes, and medical terminology, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical aptitude for proprietary systems. A minimum requirement is an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, and a CPC or CPC-A certification is mandatory.

This is a remote role.
Candidate must be located in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina Region and able to attend in office training for a minimum of 1 week at start of employment.

Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
