The pharmacist provides age-specific pharmaceutical care and basic clinical services for assigned patient care areas, managing medication orders to ensure safety through processing, preparation, and dispensing. Responsibilities also include participating in pharmacotherapeutic planning, supervising team members, and contributing to departmental quality assurance and goal setting.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, current state licensure (or eligibility within 120 days), and basic computer literacy with strong attention to detail. Preferred qualifications involve one year of hospital pharmacy experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and advanced computer literacy.
Provides age-specific pharmaceutical care and basic clinical services for assigned patient care areas. Contributes to goals, programs, QA, PI and other activities for their unit/department/hospital. Performs other duties as assigned.
