The Nurse Practitioner will treat both pediatric and adult patient populations, performing minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints, while also overseeing EKG and X-ray reads. Responsibilities include collaborating with on-site support staff like Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Paramedics.
Treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages). Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), overview reads of EKGs and X-rays. Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Paramedics for support. Opportunity to work with a Scribe. Dedicated Urgent Care Specialty – exclusively practice urgent care medicine – No Primary Care, DOT or Occupational Medicine in our urgent care position.
NP: 1-2 years’ experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required. Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an urgent care or emergency room setting. Ability to comfortably perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), overview reads of EKGs and X-rays. Licensure Current applicable state RN license required. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) required. Applicable state license as a Nurse Practitioner w/Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required.
