The MDS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating or assisting in the development and completion of the resident assessment process according to federal and state regulations and company policy. This includes acting as an in-house case manager, coordinating services, and ensuring appropriate payment by Medicare/Medicaid systems.
Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current, active license and maintain CPR certification. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in healthcare, with at least one year in a long-term care setting, is required, along with demonstrated expertise as an MDS Coordinator.
