The RN is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing nursing care services for pre- and post-surgical patients. They ensure the safe delivery of care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited RN School of Nursing with 3–5 years of experience in PreOp or endoscopy. A current Texas nursing license, BLS certification, and the ability to prioritize workload are required.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.
The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
