The role involves providing rewarding work by helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities grow, learn, and live well, while developing meaningful relationships with them. Responsibilities include supporting participants with developmental goals like budgeting and exercise, and assisting with personal hygiene, including managing behavioral challenges.
Candidates should possess six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination, although this is preferred rather than strictly required. Essential attributes include being compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible, along with possessing a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
