Provide support to Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, and other clinical locations by maintaining equipment and supplies. Assist nursing personnel in delivering patient care and perform on-call duties as required.
Position reports to the Manager, OR Service Group or Manager, Outpatient Surgery Center or Designee, perform a variety of duties in support of the Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, ASU, OB, Cath Lab and Interventional locations including but not limited to handling, cleaning and maintenance of perioperative, endoscopy and anesthesia equipment and supplies, assisting perioperative and anesthesia team. Assist nursing personnel in providing patient care and related duties within assigned areas. Perform ORA duties including on-call as needed or required.
Equal to completion of four years of high school. One-year clinical experience in an accredited hospital with preferred OR experience or a Certified Nursing Assistant or the equivalent knowledge and experience required. Knowledge of Medical Terminology as related to the perioperative setting is required. A minimum of one (1) year related work experience is required. Current BLS/CPR Certification required. Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent knowledge and experience required. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range USD $18.36 - USD $29.70 /Hr.
Requires a high school diploma, BLS/CPR certification, and at least one year of related clinical experience. Knowledge of perioperative medical terminology and CNA certification or equivalent experience are required.
