The Medical Assistant will be a vital part of the care team, working alongside providers to deliver exceptional care to ambulatory patients in a fast-paced office setting. Responsibilities include assisting with patient intake, vital signs, documentation in the EHR, supporting procedures, and coordinating referrals and patient education.
Candidates must have completed an approved accredited Medical Assistant program, and one year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant is required, or completion of the program itself is sufficient. Current certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is preferred, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.

As a Medical Assistant at MyCare 365, you’ll be a vital part of our care team, working side-by-side with providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our ambulatory patients. You’ll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced office setting, supporting clinical workflows and ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for. What You’ll Do: Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Support providers with procedures, exams, and follow-up care Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and patient education Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Positions imaging equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care What We’re Looking For: Completion of an approved accredited Medical Assistant program Current certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting is a plus Commitment to WakeMed’s values of respect, integrity, and excellence Why WakeMed?
