The primary duty involves operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, requiring patient screening, explanation of procedures, and precise execution of scans while adhering to safety regulations. Secondary responsibilities include supporting the MRI department through protocol maintenance, supply monitoring, and assisting in training new team members.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography, holding current ARRT registration and CPR certification. Sufficient training and experience to independently perform MRI procedures are mandatory, along with state licensure if applicable.

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$49.06 based on direct and relevant experience.
Essential duties and responsibilities: (90%) Patient MRI Imaging
(5%) MRI Department Support
1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades 2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary 3. Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable
(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned
1. High School diploma, or equivalent 2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography 3. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing 4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable 5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification 6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently 7. Certification in imaging specialty
