The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs professional nursing duties, treatments, and monitors the health status of residents in compliance with facility regulations. This role also involves monitoring the work and performance of unlicensed staff members.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care/Nursing Home and Transitional Care unit regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our welcoming Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake City, MN Nursing schedule includes; Casual / on call Evening or overnight shift Must work a minimum of three shifts per month, which includes two weekend shifts per month and one holiday per year Lake City Care Center is nestled near the picturesque Lake Pepin in southeast Minnesota.

BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice 0-1 years of experience Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phones, and fax machines Preferred: Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree 1-3 years of experience MS Office, Excel, and Word Point Click Care knowledge
