A CommonSpirit Health Nurse Resident is a new graduate Registered Nurse expected to continue developing nursing knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors introduced in formal education while transitioning into practice. They must demonstrate competency in core and functional areas while progressing in areas like patient focus, ownership, and clinical performance improvement.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, holding 0-12 months of professional RN experience, though a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must commit to the full year-long program, including required class attendance and working variable shifts including nights and holidays.
