This role involves providing direct assistive patient care, supporting licensed staff by performing basic healthcare tasks, and assisting with essential clerical functions within the clinic setting. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, performing specific clinical skills like injections and waived lab tests, and maintaining examination areas.
Candidates must possess current required certifications such as Advanced EMT, Paramedic, or various Medical Assistant certifications (CMA, RMA, NCMA, etc.) and be able to work rotating schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 environment. The position requires the physical ability to lift patients and stand for long periods while adhering to all hospital policies and safety standards.
