The Occupational Therapy Assistant will plan and administer treatment to residents with disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing, providing skilled services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities also include instructing patients and families, monitoring treatment response, and completing all required documentation according to policy and regulations.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), maintaining good standing with all regulatory agencies. Experience in SNF/Long term care is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices.
