The role of a Registered Dental Assistant is pivotal in supporting prosthodontists and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires a skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in dental assisting, with a preferred emphasis on prosthodontics. Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain optimal hygiene standards. Ensure strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations to guarantee a safe environment for patients and staff. Capture high-quality radiographic images and maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Provide patients with clear pre- and post-procedure care instructions to support their comfort and recovery. Maintain thorough documentation and charting to ensure continuity of care and smooth clinical operations. Required Skills & Abilities: High School Diploma and reliable transportation are required. Strong motivation to learn, with a genuine passion for patient care and clinical excellence. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant required, with prosthodontic or restorative experience preferred. Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus. Basic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to travel as needed to support clinic operations. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for success in this role.
