Occupational Therapists will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions to help patients regain independence. They will also educate patients and families on self-management techniques for continued progress post-discharge.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a current license to practice. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience and strong clinical and communication skills.
As a Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital part in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life following illness, injury, or surgery. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to address a variety of patient needs. You will also educate patients and their families on self-management techniques to ensure continued progress after discharge.
Minimum Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Licenses or Certifications Current, unencumbered license to practice professional Occupational Therapy in the state where currently practicing. Current BLS required via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).
