Altru Health System is seeking a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join our expanding cardiovascular team in Grand Forks, ND. With our new Hospital and Heart & Vascular Center opened in 2025, this is an exceptional opportunity to step into a growing, fully integrated program supported by advanced technology and a highly collaborative care team.

Extensive APP support General, Interventional, and EP Cardiologists Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons
Designated OR time in our brand-new Hybrid OR Telephone call, with minimal on-site requirements Call responsibilities: 5 weekday calls per month + 2 weekend days, with additional compensation if exceeded
Required Procedures EVAR Angiography with endovascular intervention TCAR Open aortic surgery Peripheral procedures
Requirements: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Vascular Surgery Licensed MD/DO in ND and MN

Evaluates, provides diagnosis and treatment of patients of Altru Health System who present with injuries or illnesses. Counsels patients and advises on preventative healthcare measures.
Exercises Doctor's own judgment in the diagnosis and treatment of patients consistent with Altru’s policies and standards.
Achieves the Altru Health System Patient Engagement and Quality & Safety goals established on an annual basis. Participates in activities and support department goals as defined by department on an annual basis.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation ensuring quality patient care and assurance of appropriate reimbursements to Altru Health System.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
