The role involves providing direct mental health clinical treatment, including evaluations, crisis interventions, and individual or group therapy to diverse populations such as children, adults, and geriatrics. Core duties also include developing and monitoring client treatment plans, collaborating with other providers, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or another Human Services Field and must be registered in Colorado as a Candidate, or hold an active LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license for licensed positions. Preferred qualifications include dual licensure as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC/ACD).
As a member of the treatment team, you will work with people who have mental health or co-occurring (mental health/ substance use) disorders. Clients may include children, youth, adults and seniors, who all come from various cultural backgrounds.
EDUCATION Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in counseling, psychology, social work or other behavioral health discipline that leads to Colorado licensure as LCSW, LPC, LMFT
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS Registered in the State of Colorado as a Candidate (candidacy position) Active License in the State of Colorado as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW (licensed position only) Dual Licensure in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC/ACD) preferred
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES Ability to work well with special populations along with maintaining appropriate boundaries Knowledge of diagnostic methods and models of psychotherapy Understanding of ethical principles and mandates Commitment to continuous skill development to competently serve individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds Effective written and verbal communication skills Computing skills (word processing, email, communication platforms, etc.) Ability to work flexible work-day hours and occasional after-hour shifts Ability to travel within the agency’s geographic region and other locations as needed Currently registered and in good standing with Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agency (DORA) Multi-Lingual verbal and written fluency, preferred Experience with communication tools for hearing-impaired clients (e.g., ASL, captioning technologies) preferred PAY RANGE $57,783 - 70,591/yr (candidate position) or $64,500 - $79,750/yr (licensed position)
