About the role

The role involves performing two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnostic purposes and executing various imaging procedures while adhering to patient safety protocols. This position also serves as the initial point of contact for customers to address their imaging requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.
  • Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Qualifications

Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.

ARRT; CMRT registry preferred. BLS required; can be completed upon hire.

Special

Skills,

Knowledge: Anatomy, physiology production of radiographs utilizing multiple types of equipment. Provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.

Education

Graduate of Sonography accredited program.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Sonography program and possess ARRT certification, with CMRT registry being preferred. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, which can be obtained upon hire.
