The role involves clinical dental assistant duties such as preparing patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining clinical supply levels. Additionally, front-office tasks include managing phones, scheduling appointments, and accurately collecting patient and financial information.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrating clerical skills, computer proficiency, and knowledge of medical/dental terminology. Prior healthcare experience and superb customer service skills are required, while Dental Assistant and BLS certifications are preferred.
Greets patients promptly in a warm and friendly manner. Works as a team member with support staff and Dentist to ensure safe, high quality care. Dental Assistant duties consist of preparing patients for dental examinations, assisting the Dentist during dental procedures, obtaining dental history and vital signs, sterilizing equipment, maintaining adequate clinical supply levels in each operatory, clinical supply inventory and ordering. Front-office duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining complete and accurate personal and financial information in an efficient and courteous manner. Assumes responsibility associated with any expanded duties that may be delegated by Practice Manager or Dentist.

Education, Training or Certifications Required: High School or equivalent with demonstrated clerical and registration skills, computer proficiency and medical/dental terminology.
Dental Assistant and BLS Certification preferred.
Prior healthcare experience (Medical or Dental Office), Superb customer service skills.
