The role involves supporting a clinic, department, or program in an administrative capacity, which includes greeting visitors, screening calls, filing, distributing mail, and performing general clerical duties. Responsibilities also extend to assisting with provider software, maintaining patient charts, managing appointments, and overseeing office inventory and equipment.
The primary requirement is a High School diploma or GED, or 10 years of work experience, with no formal experience required for the role itself. Candidates must be able to perform frequent physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, sitting, standing, walking, and frequent use of vision, hearing, and speech for communication and data entry.
