The primary role involves providing therapy interventions to improve patients' overall functional ability through education and skill modification, assisting both patients and caregivers in adapting to life changes. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation, supervising staff, supporting quality improvement, and developing/implementing treatment protocols.
Candidates must possess a B.S., M.S., or O.T.D. in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of work. New graduates or experienced therapists are accepted, but those in Hand Therapy must commit to seeking CHT certification when eligible.

You’ll provide hands-on therapy, educate patients and their families, and help develop home exercise programs, offering discharge recommendations when appropriate. If you specialize in Hand Therapy, you'll work under the supervision of a Certified Hand Therapist (either PT or OT/CHT) and stay in close contact with them to ensure the best care. Your role includes accurate documentation, supervising and mentoring staff, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within the department. You’ll attend team meetings, help develop and implement treatment protocols, and promote a professional image while highlighting the services we offer.
