The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across all patient ages, while also providing education to staff, patients, and families. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or be eligible during the clinical fellowship year. A valid Speech/Language Pathology license in the state of work is mandatory, along with required adult inpatient experience and specialized knowledge in areas like dysphagia and voice treatment.
