The Patient Care Technician delivers direct, hands-on care to patients with end-stage renal disease during life-sustaining dialysis treatment under RN supervision. Key duties include monitoring patients, maintaining equipment, recording vital signs, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health.
Candidates must possess an accredited High School diploma or GED equivalent and be comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment. Physical ability to work long shifts on their feet and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment Set up and maintain dialysis equipment Record vital signs and patient data Educate patients on treatment and kidney health Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment Physically able to work long shifts on your feet Willing to float between local clinics if needed Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
