The Counselor is responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of all required patient documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to federal, state, and agency standards. Key duties also involve providing direct patient services such as orientation, crisis intervention, noncompliance counseling, facilitating group sessions, and performing drug screenings.
Minimum requirements vary by Counselor level, but all roles require specific Ohio counseling credentials, such as a CDCA or higher certification. Counselor I requires a GED/High School diploma and a CDCA or higher, while higher levels (Counselor II and III) require Associate or Master's degrees along with progressively higher levels of licensure like LCDC II/III, LPC, LSW, or LPCC/LISW/IMFT.
M-F 5: 30a-2p and rotating Saturdays 6a-9a
**Must have an active OH CDCA or other OH counseling license**
