The Licensed Practical Nurse will administer and dispense medication under physician direction, ensuring adherence to the established treatment plan for residents. Responsibilities also include providing essential medical training to staff and educating clients on medical matters, lab results, and specific treatments like methadone maintenance.
Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the state of employment and comfortable working independently with the patient population when necessary. A key requirement is strict compliance with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program protocols.
