Responsibilities

The EP Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, assist physician in a scrub-assistant role, and circulates to include all diagnostic EP and cardiac ablations procedures, device implants and explants, cardiac cath procedures to ensures safe patient care. This is a prn day shift position.

Qualifications

Education Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, LPN license, or Paramedic license. In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) Licensure/Certification/Registration American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:
FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR
FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields BLS required ACLS required Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
