We are seeking a compassionate, experienced senior caregiver to provide care one day a week for a wonderful elderly couple in their lovely home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. References required.

About the Position

• Residents: Husband (93, blind) and wife (87, dementia)
• Environment: Peaceful, private home offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere
• Compensation: $20/hr
• Schedule: One 12-hour shift weekly (Tuesdays) but day may vary occasionally

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, mobility support)
• Support with dementia-related needs and memory care
• Prepare meals and light household tasks
• Medication administration
• Companionship, patience, and consistent daily care

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of caregiving experience (experience with dementia essential)
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Nonsmoker
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal automobile
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
• Kind, reliable, and respectful with excellent communication skills
