Speech-language pathologists are responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. This includes developing or implementing treatment plans for issues like stuttering, delayed language, or voice problems.
Candidates are required to possess a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology/Communicative Disorders and Sciences, along with an active Speech Therapy License in Missouri or be a CFY candidate. Preferred experience includes one year in a hospital or healthcare setting, along with strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
