XR Technologist

Performs X-Ray examinations following EIC Radiologist’s set Protocols Full understanding and operation of all X-Ray equipment, including digitizer if applicable. Maintains all clinical equipment, including daily QC, and ability to troubleshoot all X-Ray equipment. Notifies service as needed, maintains service logs and reports any and all performance issues to Director. Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Follows radiation safety guidelines and utilizes lead shielding as required to protect patient and self from excessive radiation. Responsible for accurate coding and completing of all ordered procedures. Performs Radiographic procedures of high technical quality. Stocks x-ray rooms between exams and at end of shift. Performs other related duties as required.
