The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent nursing care by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This involves preparing and recovering patients for various cardiac procedures such as catheterizations, ablations, and surgeries in specialized units.
A minimum of 1 year of bedside nursing experience is required, with telemetry and cardiac experience being preferred. Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing and must obtain a Virginia RN License or be Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
