The LPN will provide direct patient care, assist with OB/GYN visits and minor procedures, and manage patient flow in an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include documenting vitals, collecting lab specimens, and providing prenatal and contraceptive education.
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking dependable and skilled LPNs/LVNs to support the OB/GYN Outpatient Clinics at Naval Medical Center Portmouth. The nurse will assist with direct patient care, vital signs, health documentation, and routine gynecological and prenatal procedures. This role supports a fast-paced, collaborative women's healthcare clinic focused on prevention, early diagnosis, and care coordination.
• Certificate or diploma from an accredited LPN/LVN program
• Graduate from a state-approved or military-accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or outpatient settings
• Current, active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in any U.S. state or territory
• Must complete background check and credentialing process (approx. 45–90 days)
