Registered Veterinary Technicians in Internal Medicine are essential for supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with chronic and complex medical conditions. Duties include providing compassionate care, assisting with diagnostics like imaging and endoscopy, administering treatments, and communicating with pet owners.
Basic qualifications require a high school diploma and a valid, current Registered Veterinary Technician license in California, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in Specialty Veterinary Medicine, particularly internal medicine.
