The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide a full range of physical therapy assistant services as directed by the supervising physical therapist, including orientation and clinical direction to new staff. Duties also involve performing extensive clerical tasks such as scheduling, ordering supplies, maintaining records, and measuring patient metrics for evaluations.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree and be a graduate from a CAPTE-accredited program, along with holding a current, unrestricted Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification. A minimum of one year of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy assistant experience within the last three years, or recent graduation, is required, and applicants must be a US Citizen.
The Physical Therapy Assistant will be providing services to our active-duty military members currently stationed at Naval Base Portsmouth.
