The Operating Room Nurse will provide leadership and coordination as a safe clinical practitioner, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective service by maintaining a safe surgical environment and assisting with all aspects of surgical cases. Job Summary and Responsibilities As a CNA at CHI LakeWood Health, you will help our patients by providing nursing care to our Long Term Care (LTC) residents under the direction of the physician or registered nurse. Every day you will work with our patients to evaluate their needs and provide physical or psychosocial care. You also have the patience to explain the process, answer questions and update documentation. To thrive in this role you will be organized and prioritize accordingly. Your leadership skills will allow you to handle conflicts resulting in a positive outcome. Contributes to the assessment of the health status of patients. Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, charts, reports, etc., and submit these as may be required. Communicate patient information with care teams. Assist patients/families with meals or changing bed linens. Reports any changes in a patient's condition to the Charge Nurse. Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse environment. Amongst additional responsibilities.
