The Medical Assistant functions as an integral part of the healthcare team, performing routine administrative and patient care supportive duties to assist medical and nursing staff in patient examination and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients, documenting vital signs, assisting with procedures, administering authorized medications, drawing blood, and providing patient education.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and have two years of related customer-facing experience, preferably in healthcare. Required abilities include computer knowledge, strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and staff, and the capacity to work independently with high accuracy.
