The Counselor is responsible for providing direct counseling and case management services to patients, including individual and group sessions, assessments, individualized treatment plans, and aftercare services. Duties involve maintaining caseloads per state regulations and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a similar field, with a Master's degree being preferred. Applicants must be CSAC eligible or currently eligible for CSAC supervision.
Maintain caseload per State Regulations Assures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and a interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual Completes, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual. Completes a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual Prepares an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time and to review prior to discharge Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or similar Masters Preferred Must be CSAC or eligible for CSAC supervision
