The PRN Dialysis Technician provides direct, hands-on patient care, including initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities also involve monitoring vital signs, operating and checking hemodialysis machines, documenting treatment details, and preparing lab specimens.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of dialysis technician experience, along with required dialysis certification and current CPR certification. The role demands physical stamina for prolonged standing and walking, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and strong attention to detail in a clinical environment.
