Key duties involve comprehensive patient care including animal restraint, triage, surgical preparation and assistance, anesthetic management, and diagnostic sample collection and analysis. Technicians are also responsible for the nursing care of medical cases and effectively communicating treatment plans to clients.
Candidates must possess an active Licensed Veterinary Technician license, with 2+ years of professional experience preferred, especially in anesthesia and surgical monitoring. Essential requirements include reliability, availability for late nights/weekends, excellent client communication, and proficiency in various technical veterinary procedures.
