The role involves evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients needing speech and language rehabilitation. This includes identifying issues, modifying therapy as necessary, and tracking patient performance and progress.
Candidates must possess current licensure or certification required by state regulations and successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC). A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree accompanied by relevant field experience.
