The Certified Recovery Specialist will assist patients in regaining control over their lives and recovery process by serving as a patient advocate, providing peer support, and modeling competence in recovery. Responsibilities include helping patients articulate goals, identify barriers, reinforce progress, teach coping skills, and support vocational choices.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and self-identify as a current or former patient maintaining healthy recovery from substance abuse. Verification of completion of state-approved training and a passing score on the certification exam are mandatory requirements.
*Shift: 5am-1pm*
