The role involves coordinating and providing care by utilizing the nursing process, which serves as the foundation for decision-making to help restore or maintain patient health. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care, administering medications, and providing patient education.
Candidates must possess an RN License and have a minimum of two years of experience, with scheduling requirements including bi-weekly hours that cover weekend shifts and annual special staffing time. Required licensure includes an RN license and BLS certification within 14 days of hire, with computer literacy being a preferred skill.
Coordinates and provides care utilizing the critical thinking framework known as the nursing process. The nursing process forms the foundation of the nurse's decision making to help partner with patients/families to attain, maintain and restore health whenever possible. Blends caring, compassion, knowledge and integrity to provide safe quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Performs other duties as assigned.
