This role involves providing professional nursing care within an assigned unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medicine and surgery patients over a twelve-week assignment. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, administering prescribed interventions, documenting findings, and collaborating with staff and patients/families regarding care needs and discharge planning.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved nursing school/program and possess a minimum of two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse. Required qualifications include state licensure (or Compact State Licensure) to work in Tennessee, and current CPR/BLS certification upon hire.
