The caregiver performs and interprets laboratory tests at all complexity levels while adhering to quality control and safety policies. They are also responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting results accurately, and providing training to students or staff.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, or medical laboratory science. Certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician from ASCP or AMT is preferred.
