The Medical Assistant performs direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting physicians with examinations and procedures. They also manage clerical tasks such as maintaining medical records, processing insurance forms, and ensuring examination rooms are stocked and sanitized.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, they are required to have completed a Medical Assistant training program with a certificate or have 1-3 years of relevant experience as a medical assistant, EMT, or CNA.
