Under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist, provides medically prescribed therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy, state and federal regulatory, licensing and accrediting requirements.
Education and Work Experience A.A. Degree . Current state Physical Therapist Assistance license. Current BCLS (AHA) Certificate upon hire and maintain current. Healthcare experience preferred. Candidates must possess an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree and hold a current state Physical Therapist Assistant license. A current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate is required upon hire, and previous healthcare experience is preferred.
