Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, this role provides medically prescribed therapeutic services aimed at restoring patient function and preventing disability for various physical disorders. Responsibilities must adhere to Physical Therapy standards and all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements.
Candidates must possess an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree and hold a current state Physical Therapist Assistant license. A current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate is required upon hire, and previous healthcare experience is preferred.
Under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist, provides medically prescribed therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy, state and federal regulatory, licensing and accrediting requirements.
Education and Work Experience A.A. Degree . Current state Physical Therapist Assistance license. Current BCLS (AHA) Certificate upon hire and maintain current. Healthcare experience preferred.
