We are a newly renovated 14-bed unit where new and experienced nurses will stretch their skill sets with a patient population involving cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, and complex surgical patients with interventions that include, but not limited to, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Intra-Aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and Therapeutic Hypothermia. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. A registered professional nurse responsible for the delivery of patient care for assigned patients on a specific shift worked. Coordination of all aspects of the medical plan and nursing standards of care using the nursing process. Also directs and guides the activities of other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
