The MRI Technologist must follow all organizational policies and protocols to ensure patient safety while providing professional and caring support during fast-paced clinical procedures. Responsibilities include accurately positioning patients, performing scans according to protocol, administering intravenous contrast, completing necessary documentation, and maintaining equipment.

Hours are Mondays 8a-7p, Tuesdays 830a-7p, Wednesdays 8a-530p, Thursdays 7a-6p.
This role is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus!

What you will do
Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to.
Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
Perform scan in accordance to center’s protocol.
Administer intravenous contrast.
Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.
Contrast administration
Pay range for this position is $40-$60/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
