About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, with an emphasis on child and adolescent behavioral health.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health record.
  • Provide family-focused care, collaborating with parents/guardians and other support systems when working with youth.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate for different developmental stages.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide on-call coverage for assigned cases and respond to outreach calls from CFG’s Access Center within 20 minutes when on-call.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health discipline
  • NJ License Required: LSW, LAC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPC
  • Experience working with children and adolescents strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
  • ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) certification preferred but not required. CFG Health Network will support interested clinicians in obtaining ADOS training and certification.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in a related behavioral health discipline and hold an active New Jersey license (LSW, LAC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPC). Experience working with children and adolescents is strongly preferred, along with strong organizational and communication abilities.
