This full-time position is within the Village Care Center Float Pool, requiring associates to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift per pay period. Associates must be prepared to work where assigned throughout the care center as part of this flexible staffing plan.
Float Pool associates must work a minimum of 30 hours per week (60 per pay period), including one weekend shift per pay period and at least three of six assigned holidays per calendar year. Applicants must provide preferred work shift calendars by the first of the month and adhere to shift times of 7a-7p or 7p-7a.
Full-Time position within our Village Care Center
At this time, shift availability is primarily on DAYS
The VCC Full-time Float Pool is a staffing plan and program created to provide flexibility with the staffing assignment schedule throughout the Village Care Center. Associates working exclusively in the Pool are classified as full-time and required to work a minimum number of hours. Guidelines regarding the VCC Full-time Float Pool staffing plan include:
1. Full-time associates are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), insurance benefits (health, dental, vision, etc), and the TSA plan offered by the Village.
3. Full-time Float Pool associates must provide the Staffing Office a calendar of preferred work shifts (hours/days) for the upcoming month by the 1st day of that month. Shift times available are 7a-7p or 7p-7a. It will be up to Staffing to manage a Full-time Float Pool associate’s hours as they deem appropriate, keeping to the 30 hour minimum requirement.
4. Full-time Float Pool associates must work where assigned throughout the care center.
5. Full-time Float Pool associates are eligible for any applicable shift differential available to full-time associates.
6. Failure to meet the requirements may jeopardize VCC Full-time Float Pool status and result in separation of employment.
