The Intern will support laboratory operations through administrative, analytical, and project-based activities, including processing biological specimens and supporting testing in assigned departments like hematology, chemistry, and microbiology. Responsibilities also involve monitoring work queues, maintaining inventory, supporting research projects, and presenting internship accomplishments upon completion.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Science (MLS/CLS) bachelor’s program or related science program eligible for clinical rotations, having completed at least junior-level coursework (typically 90 credit hours). Required qualifications also include coursework or experience in laboratory work, specimen collection, or testing, alongside strong communication and analytical skills.
